Victory Gallop Performance Horses is privately owned and operated by Mishael K. Tarbell, who has had the life-long passion of being involved in the horse industry for close to 20 years; she has excelled in many various aspects of equine sports and events, with horses trained and ridden exclusively by her. Being born and raised in Los Alamitos, California, just a stride away from the ever-busy racetrack, she lived in the dream of being as intensely engaged in the horse business as possible. Beginning at the early age of five years old, she began taking Western and English hunter/jumper lessons in Lakewood, Calif. in 1989. While yet unable to privately own a horse, she got more experience riding just about anything that was presented to her, including Warmbloods, Quarter Horses, Arabians, Thoroughbreds, and even ponies. This sense of vast diversity has greatly impacted her goal of operating an equine business -- and by incorporating different breeds for largely different purposes -- much more can be offered to an extensive group of people. To become more involved with the scientific aspects of breeding horses, and while still attending college during the early part of 2005, she completed an Equine Reproductive Management course at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. And later in 2007, followed the completion of the journey to attaining her Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a major in Animal Science and an emphasis in Equine Science.
